Actress Angela Basset has been confirmed the director of late Whitney Houston's biopic. Basset, and Houston were friends, and starred in the movie "
Waiting to Exhale".
The biopic will portray Whitney Houston's turbulent life, her music career, and her marriage to Bobby Brown. It is scheduled to air on cablenetwork Lifetime.
