One Directioners have helped the band secure the top spot in ticket sales. The band broke a record - they are the first touring artist in 2014 to break the $200 million ticket sales barrier based on revenue reported this week from the European and North American legs of its "Where We Are" world tour. Ticket sales from the tour now total $230 million from 53 sold out concerts. Simon Cowell (owner of the band's record label) must be laughing all the way to the bank - talk about a great investment.

The young homeless man who accompanied Miley Cyrus to the MTV Video Music Awards and who had been sought on an Oregon arrest warrant has turned himself in and posted bail, an Oregon official said Thursday night.

Hip hop artist Wale is signed to Rick Ross' MMG music label. In 2009 Wale inked his management deal with Jay Z's Roc Nation (a management and label company). According to New York Daily News, French Montana was allegedly paid to date Khloe Kardashian. The New York Daily News Source revealed: “He’s expensive, and some people at E! just don’t think he’s worth the money,” and continues “I’ve heard execs moaning about it, saying, 'We're just paying so much for him.' "
According to reports, the executives at E! decided to cut their losses, and announced the couple had 'split'.

Update on Pre- VMA Shooting of Suge Knight At Chris Brown's Party
No official statement has been issued by Chris Brown and Suge Knight's camp regarding the shooting of Deathrow Record founder Suge Knight. However, according to Revolt TV, several eyewitnesses declared that after shots were fired, while everyone ducked for cover, Brown hopped up on a table and proclaimed that he was “here”, practically daring the shooters to fire at their alleged intended target.

Dominican Republic Bans Miley Cyrus
Bad news for Miley Cyrus fans in the Dominican Republic - the government commission that oversees public performances is banning a September 13 concert by Miley on morality grounds. Some critics have declared Cyrus' onstage antics, including twerking and crotch-grabbing, as vulgar. In the past, there have been bans of music considered vulgar on the Dominican airwaves.
