Angela Bassett is directing the upcoming Whitney Houston biopic and according to her, production on the biopic is going smoothly.
Bassett was asked about the controversy surrounding the Lifetime movie (you may recall Whitney Houston's family are against the movie release on the small screen).
According to Basset: "It felt like it was flowing from the beginning. Except me with the learning curve, you know. Coming from one side of the camera to the other,"
"Controversy can be good. It can pique your interest," she added.
