According to Ticketmaster, "tens of thousands" of tickets are still unsold for the upcoming Jay Z and Beyonce tour which begins on June 25 (a week from now). Usually tickets for top artists like these sell pretty quick.
Radar online is reporting the elevator incident between Jay Z, and Beyonce's sister Solange has changed the public's perception of the couple. In addition, rumours of cheating has added to the speculations that their perfect image may not be so perfect after all.
Well here's our take: A possible explanation for the poor ticket sales could be because Jay Z, and Beyonce have been touring a lot. Jay Z has toured with Kanye West, and Justin Timberlake in the past couple of years. Beyonce just completed her "Mrs Carter" Tour. Perhaps these two need a break from their music careers, and need to take time off to enjoy a bit of family downtime. Okay maybe we also need a break from them as well. They can come back in the next year or two, and we promise we'll be having withdrawal symptons by then.
