Forbes Magazine recently compiled the list of top earners in hip-hop. The list was compiled based on income from record sales, publishing, merchandise sales, tours and endorsement deals, and talking to managers, agents, lawyers and some of the artists.
Dr.Dre (49 years old) made the No.1 spot on the list with $620m (£378.8m) before tax in the past 12 months. P.Diddy (Sean Combs, 44 years old) and Jay Z (44 years old), made the No.2 spot with $60m (£36m), with earnings from drinks, clothing and television deals.
Drake (27 years old), was No.4 with $33m (£20m) with takings from his album Nothing Was The Same, an endorsement deal with Nike and a concert tour.
2014 Grammy-winners Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were No.5 with $32m (£19.5m). Click here for full list.
