Hip hop artist Wale is signed to Rick Ross' MMG music label. In 2009 Wale inked his management deal with Jay Z's Roc Nation (a management and label company). Roc Nation's management clients include Kanye West, Rihanna,Timbaland, Grimes, Haim and others. Artists signed to its label unit are Calvin Harris, Rihanna, Jay Z, J. Cole and Rita Ora. Wale is now signed to 77 North Management, the team behind NBA's LeBron James
